The Grants, Contracts and Audits (GCA) Division performs the following functions: •  Prepares and submits applications for federal, state and private funding for programs    benefiting children and youth; •  Issues Requests for Proposals (RFP's) and evaluates proposal submissions; •  Executes contracts and sub-grantee agreements with community-based service providers    and vendors; •  Conducts audits of sub-grantee agencies to ensure their compliance with city, state and     federal regulations; •  Serves as the purchasing liaison between CYS and the City's Department of Procurement Services. These efforts help CYS fulfill its funding requirements and support the Department's mission to ensure that high-quality programs are available to the children and youth of Chicago.
